MultiPerso Document Verifying Certification Authority (DVCA) component can be used as a national EAC-PKI intermidiate Certificate Authority, managing access rights to sensitive data stored on electronic travel documents.


A Document Verifying Certification Authority is the intermediate CA of a country’s authority responsible for the verification of electronic documents, its control the Inspection Systems (ISs). The DVCA determines which Inspection System (IS) will get authorization to read sensitive data from the electronic documents like fingerprints or iris biometrics to which access is protected via Extended Access Control (EAC).
MultiPerso Document Verifying Certification Authority (DVCA) allows government organizations to build a dedicated in-house EAC-PKI environment for access rigth management of the travel documents sensative data. DVCA is the part of the EAC-PKI inspection infrastructure. It issues Certificates containing the authorisations to Inspection Systems (ISs) it controls.
