MultiPerso Country Verifying Certification Authority (CVCA) component can be used as a national EAC-PKI root Certificate Authority.
OVERVIEW
A Country Verifying Certification Authority is the root CA of a country’s authority responsible for the verification of electronic documents. The CVCA determines which parties will get authorization to read sensitive data from the electronic documents like fingerprints or iris biometrics to which access is protected via Extended Access Control (EAC).
MultiPerso Country Verifying Certification Authority (CVCA) allows government organizations to build a dedicated in-house EAC-PKI environment for access right management of the travel documents sensitive data. CVCA is the part of the EAC-PKI inspection infrastructure. It issues Certificates containing the authorisations to Document Verifying Certification Authorities (DVCAs). The DVCA may be a domestic or foreign DVCA. The DVCA may pass these authorisations on to Inspection Systems.
